asc international and regional governance
ASC is governed by an international Board of Directors that includes elected and appointed officers. The elected officers are President, 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents, Secretary, and Regional Directors. Appointed officers are Finance Manager, Treasurer, Editors, and Webmaster.
Regions are led by a Regional Director, who is responsible for the ASC activities in that region. Typical regional activities include a mid-year regional meeting, regional faculty paper presentations, and regional student competitions.
The competitions provide a platform for students, faculty, and industrial partners to come together in a collaboration of team- working and problem-solving. Providing student teams with the opportunity to solve a real-life industry practice scenario.
