Assistant or Associate Professor of Construction Management
Job Summary:
The Department of Statistics & Applied Technology in the Getty College of Arts & Sciences at Ohio Northern University welcomes applicants for a tenure-track, assistant or associate professor position in Construction Management. Rank commensurate with experience.
We seek a talented individual who is (1) passionate about teaching both lower-division and upper-division undergraduate courses in Construction Management, (2) committed to scholarship, and (3) invested in student success. If you desire to make a difference in the lives of undergraduate students, we invite you to apply for a tenure-track faculty position to begin either January 19, 2027 or August 17, 2027. A terminal degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering Technologies, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field is required. ABD candidates will be considered if all degree requirements are completed before September 1, 2027. Candidates with experience teaching undergraduate construction management courses or industry experience are encouraged to apply.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses such as Introduction to CAD, Fluid and Mechanical Systems, Design, Estimating, Scheduling, Project Controls, and Project Management/Administration. Ohio Northern faculty in the College of Arts & Sciences teach 23-25 credit hours per year. Additional responsibilities include scholarship and service, including advising undergraduate students and student organizations (e.g., competition coaching) and maintaining industry relationships.
