Assistant Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor in Project Management

Job Summary: The School of Construction, Design and Project Management at Missouri State University invites applications for a faculty position in its distinctive and growing Project Management Graduate Program, commencing Fall 2025.  This position will support the collaboration between different graduate and undergraduate academic programs within the school.  Highly qualified candidates will teach project management courses focusing on one or more of the following topical content areas: agile project management, program and portfolio management, project risk and quality management, cost and schedule management, and project leadership.  This opening is being posted at both the Assistant Professor (tenure-track) and Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track) levels; however, only one position will be filled.

About the School:  The School of Construction, Design and Project Management is uniquely housed within the College of Business and offers undergraduate degrees in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Interior Design, and Digital Fashion and Merchandising.  At the graduate level, the department offers a Master of Science degree and a graduate certificate in Project Management. The school is also home to the Center for Project Innovation and Management Education (C-PRIME) which supports community engagement by attracting opportunities for project-based consulting and research, disseminating the results of faculty research, and delivering professional development courses that are relevant to industry needs.
